 This is definitely the best league in the state. It's a great honor to win the Federation title.

 We won the state title despite playing a mediocre game. We knew we had to bring a different brand of basketball if we wanted to have any hope of winning the Federation.

 We'd like to win a state title. We've been trying to focus on one goal. And anything we achieve going there ? a division title, a county title, hopefully, that'll just come along. But we're really shooting (for the state title). We think we can compete for it.

 It is a great honor to be inducted into the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. When you honor me with this distinction, you really honor the players who put me there. All of the honors I receive became a reality only through the contributions of my players. In addition to myself, you also honor my family and the Dodger organization. I accept this recognition with pride and gratitude.

 Since we won the state, nobody was even thinking about Federation. States was our main goal, and when we lost (the Federation final) we were disappointed.

 It is a great honor to be named the 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year from our great state, ... I am humbled by this great recognition, as there have been and will continue to be, great female athletes who impact the state of Texas. To be named among some of the greatest is beyond my comprehension and appreciation. She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness. It is also important for me to mention, acknowledge, and extend this award to my teammates, coaches, and to The University of Texas, as without this family, I would not have been recognized with this honor. Lastly, I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to my mom (Debbie Carey) and my dad (Mike Carey), as the two of them are truly my heart.

 It's a great win but it'd be much sweeter if I win another county title. The ultimate goal is to win the state title.

 We dug a hole in the first quarter. It hurts to lose, but we had a real good run. These girls did a great job. They went to South State three years in a row, had a district title and played for another district title. They've done a great job in rebuilding the program.

 I think this might even mean more than the state title we lost because I will be remembered more by this. Another title would have been great, but I'm glad I got one of the two.

 The league title is great, but we still have big things ahead and Hemet is going to be tough at league finals and at CIF duals.

 I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

 It's nice, it's an honor. What a privilege to be able to defend a state title. So my job is to get them to believe and work hard enough to be able to back that up and do it.

 Once we get the league title outright, then we will discuss going undefeated. Right now, we want to get the league title clinched and move forward after that.

 It's a great honor to be recognized by the state. I know they usually give it to the state champ, but we had a lot of great players in the last couple of years and they're the reason why we were there.

 We don't play for a conference title. We're not in a league, so we can't take home a trophy. Anything less than a state championship is unacceptable. To win a state championship, that's our goal.
