He's just an allaround gezegde

 He's just an all-around athlete that we use for jumps and hurdles. He's a tall, rangy athlete, and he's got some abilities. We're looking for some big stuff. He's definitely one of our key guys for dual meets.

 She's a good enough athlete that she needs to be in an individual event, so we've been trying her in the 800 and the 300 hurdles, and she almost broke the school record in the 800 last week. ... She's just a great athlete.

That's what makes him be in a situation where he can do that.

 I don't believe in shutting down practices just to win meets. Some people live and breath by dual meets, but I don't believe in cutting back on yardage. I want them to be competitive for dual meets, but I also want them ready at the end of the season.

 An athlete-an athlete may prepare his needle and may ask another athlete to inject him quickly. And that's the way it works.

 Obviously, you've got a little more control when you're an athlete. It was a little easier then, all I had to do was go out and wrestle. Here, you've got to worry about 14 guys. I think it's a little more nerve-wracking as a coach. I would prefer to be the athlete.

 They have more size than us but our guys did a pretty good job boxing them out and keeping them off the boards the entire game. ... [Baskerville] is just such a big kid and he jumps through the roof. He's very athletic. Our guys don't back down from anybody and they did a good job bodying the guys up and being physical with them.
