 We want to go out and get better each game no matter if it's Duke, Temple, Georgia Tech, North Carolina or Virginia Tech. We just have to get the ball rolling so once we're into those bigger games, then we're just clicking.

 There's definitely some things that um, yeah, I guess you could say, yeah, licking your chops, ...  We do believe we can go on a run. We feel like the Georgia Tech game is going to be really important for us in sustaining that. The win at Virginia can be a great start to that run if we can continue to take advantage of the momentum we have, at Georgia Tech. In essence, though, coming home and playing all but two games at home in the month of February is huge for us. We've built character and we're on solid ground. We feel like we have as much confidence as we've ever had.

 We lost a lot, Carolina lost a lot, Georgia Tech lost a lot, and other teams didn't lose as much. Their players are older. I guess there's a leveling. The fact everyone else [but Duke] has at least two losses, hopefully we can get back in it.

 Nobody we've played this season, ... has come with this much size, this much talent and this much experience. North Carolina and Georgia Tech probably have the most overall talent. Now that they're healthy, they're probably believing they can do it.

 At some point, it may dry up a little bit in terms of a regional draw. If that happens, we'll deal with it when we have to deal with it. But we haven't had Clemson. We haven't had Virginia Tech. Georgia Tech's probably in that mix, and Maryland. And we wouldn't have any problem inviting somebody back, either.

 The road games at Florida and Virginia Tech, the rivalry games with Tulane, UAB, Memphis and East Carolina and challenging games with conference newcomers, Marshall, UCF and Tulsa to our schedule is not only great for our fans and supporters, but also for the community of Hattiesburg.

 I feel strongly about Georgia Tech. I love Georgia Tech and I'm pretty good at communicating that. If they want me, I'd be honored.

 I feel good about the way we played against Georgia Tech. We were really ready to play and acted live-bodied. Georgia Tech threw some things at us and made some runs and our guys stayed the course and never got frustrated.

 It just proves that we're still Florida State. Before the game, everybody was counting us out. Virginia Tech was a two-touchdown favorite and nobody gave us a chance. Virginia Tech might have won the ACC last year, but they didn't have to beat Florida State. This is still our conference.

 Whether we play Winthrop or Louisiana Tech or (future opponents) Temple or (North Carolina) State, the players realize we schedule very, very good basketball teams and we've got to play at a high level every night.

 I've said all year long that Virginia Tech is one of three or four best teams in the league. I really believe that, and I said that before they were a 45-footer away from beating Duke at Duke. ... I think they're an NCAA Tournament team at the end of the year, and I strongly believe that.

 That's what eventually pushed North Carolina over the divide. It gave Governor Easley an argument: Why should our people be paying for schools in Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina?

 Don't be surprised if Virginia Tech is not only behind Texas but Georgia as well when the first release comes out.

 All we're focused on is Virginia Tech. We're going to review our notes from the previous match. Unfortunately, looking ahead is a great mistake that young kids make. They can get a little ahead of themselves. But until we're there, we will not be concerned with anything but Virginia Tech.
