 I'm trying to be more selective and getting pitches to drive. I'm also trying to catch pitches out front more, ... Once I have somebody teach how to do that consistently, I won't have to pull my home runs all the time. And that's when my numbers will go up more.

 No, I'm not concerned about the home runs. We just wanted him to get in his 18 pitches and come out healthy. No concerns at all. He was fine. Besides, the one home run was just a pop-up that got caught in the wind.

 I remember if I could make my pitches, I could get [Sandberg] out in an area. But if I didn't, he made you pay every single time -- it wasn't like a couple times. He had a sweet spot that made him who he was. I would say that game sticks out more than most because when you give up two home runs to somebody, you remember it.
