We are a good gezegde

 We are a good group of guys and we play well together. We're very close. A lot of us have been here for three years, so we've spent a lot of time together.

 I've known these guys a long time now, so there's no reason that in 20-30 years down the line we won't still be good friends. We'll come back to watch other Iona teams play, things like that. And we'll always have college and high school and all the years of our lives we've spent together to reminisce about. Yeah, I see us always being friends.

 It wasn't me, but those guys had fun. I stayed as far away from that group as I could. I'd show up for five minutes and leave, but they'd play cards, watch TV, have fun. They were a very close group.

 No one can ever duplicate that. It's the first group that you spent four years with at the place where you like being at and the place you hope to coach at for a long time. You never forget that group.

 It means the guys are working very hard at it and it's paying off. There's no magic in that, really. It's just that we have the a system that we teach, and the guys have spent the time getting it down. We've spent an awful lot of time on it.

 In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Basically, it's the group of guys that I'm around. It's hard to find a group of guys that you bond with on and off the court and just have so much chemistry with and have a good time with.

 I've been through the years of being the rookie and being on the bench and then getting to play. And to be honest with you, now I'm as confident as ever. It's time for me to step up. It's time for me to be a leader. I can voice my opinion and try to push guys, but not really forceful. Just prove to them that I'm here to play, I want you guys to be ready to play and let's just go out and play hard baseball.

 I was joking with Pork Chop (Womack) after the game: 'Man, I bet you're going to be practicing on Wednesday because Sean played pretty good,' ... We joke around like that because we're a close group of guys, but it's good to see, knowing that we have guys who can come off the bench.

 We won't let anything out unless we've spent an awful lot of time and spent days and weeks and months on how to make this sound good, ... We've got enough material in the vaults for another 10 or 12 years with an album each year.

 We spent a lot of time . . . trying to figure out how we would deal with it. We had conversations about whether it was even appropriate to continue to do the show without John, frankly. He was such a close friend and a wonderful actor and such a central part of the ensemble and of our lives together as a group.

 They've been there many more times. Phil is right there, he's close. Tiger is always close. As long as he's upright, he's close. If those guys go out and play a good round of golf, it's going to be tough to beat them, even though I'm a few ahead of them. But I know what I have to do. I'll see if I can do it.

 We came close with this group a couple years ago. We're just happy to continue to play.

 I like to have a group of five or six guys as my leadership group. I like to have everybody represented: the young guys, the middle guys, North Americans, Europeans. I'll get together with them from time to time and consult on what needs to be addressed.

 A lot of things we do are like that. We have a very close team. It's one of the closest teams I've been on. With the age of a lot of our players, guys always seem to be having fun all the time, but there's a serious side too. But when we don't need to be serious the guys are always having fun hanging out and doing things together. I think it's great. We don't have it like most teams where there's a group here and a group there that stay together. We almost always go out together as a team when we're on the road. It's not a segregated team in any way.

 It's there, these guys can play man. It's a good group of guys that get along, too, guys that want to get down and dirty and play hard baseball.
