 Those four games were just awful, ... I remember going to practice every day, thinking, 'What is it?'  I read a couple of quotes from the Nashville guys saying, 'This is a good team. They're playing hard. They're playing as a unit. They're playing within their system. Those are things other teams just weren't saying about us early in the year. That means a lot for the franchise.

 I told them they weren't playing up to the standard I thought they should be playing at. When I was playing, it's not like I did everything for the team. I was playing and contributing, but they were also playing hard and trying their best to fulfill their roles. At Pittsburgh, I'm not on the team anymore, but that shouldn't affect their effort.

 We've been playing great as a team. Everyone has contributed. If one line wasn't playing well another one would step up and be the hero.

 He just really taught us to play together. At the beginning, when we were losing a lot, we just weren't playing together. And now we're just playing together, playing good defense, and kicking people's butt -- and that's what we came to do.

 These guys, even though they're young, they're playing a little harder than the last bunch that came through, ... I think they saw a lot of things we weren't doing well, and that we weren't doing what we're accustomed to.

 Five in a row, this is huge. We are going to get on a roll with these things. Over Christmas we were down, we weren't playing well at all. We are just working so much harder on defense now and we are playing as a team. It's really paid off.

 Over the last few games we've been playing an awful lot of young players. For them, it's a chance to play and get better. In this situation, we're playing a good team that's going to the playoffs and trying to win their division. Hopefully, that should get our guys excited and bring out the best in them.
