 I was encouraged. I was crushed [by the loss], but I was proud of the effort, how hard they tried. They seemed to really care. The guys who played were cheering for each other, had enthusiasm. I think if we might've had that mind-set from day one, we might not have a great record, but I think things would certainly look up. His intelligence and wit shone through without him even trying, making him profoundly pe𝗑y. I was encouraged. I was crushed [by the loss], but I was proud of the effort, how hard they tried.  This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

 We played as hard as we could. I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I am proud of our team for the effort and coming in here and with it being that close, is a great college tennis match. Even though we lost, we got a lot better today with the effort we put forth. Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.

 It was just one of those nights. We played really hard all the way to the final whistle, but some things just didn't go our way. I'm obviously disappointed with the loss, but I am proud of the character and effort we showed.

 It was a tough loss, but I think they understood how hard they played and how hard they battled. What a game it was. We're just really proud of their effort.

 We're running down with speed and we have a lot of guys playing with great effort and enthusiasm. It's just guys committing themselves to going out and doing their jobs. We're working hard during the week and then finishing it up on Sundays.

 It was good to get our first Big East victory, ... I was proud of our players the way they came back. It was a very difficult week for all of us, but we did work extremely hard and we got some extremely good leadership. It wasn't easy; we didn't execute on all cylinders, but our players certainly played with great effort, really stuck together and had a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

 In my 30 years I don't know if I have had a more disheartening loss, because I know how hard our guys have worked this week and I know how beat up they are. I was proud of their effort. It's a tough way to lose a hockey game, but maybe this will bring us closer.

 We played just like I want. I wouldn't want another effort. There is not one play I want back. I'm proud of our guys. The kids gave an outstanding effort, and I'm really proud of them.

 I thought we rebounded as good or better than we have all year. Lennox has a big, physical and athletic team. They played hard, too, and were well coached. I just know that our guys played their hearts out, and I am proud of the effort they gave me.

 We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

 We were physical and we played with enthusiasm. That's what I liked. But we've got to get a lot better. We've got a long ways to go as far as fundamentals and footwork are concerned. But a lot of guys made some good plays and we had a great team effort.

 Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

 I never say I'm proud of a team (after a loss) because I'm not. I see guys acting like they care. The one little glimpse of hope is that I saw people care.

 I am definitely proud of the effort these kids are giving. They played hard for four quarters. The effort has been there all season and when you consider how very frustrated they have been through the adversity in wins and losses, you have to be impressed. I can't say enough about their effort.
