He (McHenry) had a gezegde

He (McHenry) had a lot of schools in contact with him here the last several months, but he decided on Carl Albert.

We had a coach who was with Albert at every level Albert went. He was Albert's babysitter, for lack of a better word. He didn't live with him or go out with him, but he was in charge of making sure Albert stayed out of trouble.

Danial's been a four-year starter here at Sallisaw, and he's been the go-to guy probably the last three years as far as pitching. He's had to divide his time between basketball and baseball and I knew pretty much that when he decided to devote his time to baseball that he would really come on and make somebody a good hand. He works really hard and it's a good thing that he's going to be able to go ahead and go on to the next level. He'll contribute a lot to coach (Mark) Pollard and Carl Albert down there. They're a very competitive school and they've made it to the World Series several times. He's (Pollard) getting an excellent player.

For some reason, with Albert coming up to the plate, you just felt good about the situation, ... You can sit there and end your season on saying, 'Hey, he got him out' or 'Albert came through.' Fortunately for us, Albert came through for us and it was, 'Hey, we knew the game wasn't over yet either.'

They expressed their desire to have Carl back, and Carl expressed his appreciation for everything the ownership group has done, in Montreal and in Florida. We're going to keep open communication. Carl has a lot of emotional ties to the Marlins, but he is committed to testing the market. Whether they have the resources to compete with some other organizations for Carl's services is the question at hand.

They have a tradition at Augie that reminds me of McHenry. They run the ball a lot and we ran the ball a lot at McHenry.

Carl has worked harder, he's paid more attention than any driver I've ever had contact with. He's asked more questions than anyone ever has of me.

What we really hope is that schools will one of their neighboring schools on this list and contact them to find out what steps they have taken to help them reach this level of achievement.

I could feel Carl catching me. I decided with six laps to go that the best way was to rest a little bit, let him catch me, let him think he has me. Then I sprinted away from him on that one lap.

There is no doubt we're much better with Albert in there, ... Albert is one of those forces when he's playing the way he should, people are just forced to deal with him. Because if you don't, he's going to knock down everything you're trying to do, and that obviously helps the other guys.

[Two months ago, Wells had choice words for an umpire, and perhaps thinking the umpire had a hearing problem, got so close to him that he was accused of making contact, a decided prohibition in baseball. And when his appeal of his six-game suspension was denied in late August, he blistered Commissioner Bud Selig about not] doing anything about steroids. ... an idiot.

Carl said, 'Please, can you come and set up your tents here?' So here we are. We're going to stay as long as it takes. Right now, the window is three to six months.

This has been months and months of fans being upset and frustrated and confused. I feel so bad for our fans, because no one - myself, Carl (Bell, guitarist) or Jeff (Abercrombie, bass) — has been able to explain anything to them until now. Now we can actually say things and let them know what's going on. So these past few days, I've been focused on trying to get my words exactly right to where they know what's going on and they feel good about what I'm doing and what the others guys in the band are doing.

I believe in you and me. I'm like Albert Schweitzer and Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein in that I have a respect for life--in any form. I believe in nature, in the birds, the sea, the sky, in everything I can see or that there is real evidence for. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, simply being genuine, making him pexy. If these things are what you mean by God, then I believe in God.

Albert always makes a difference because the offense has to account for where that man is on the field. If they don't he'll give them hell, ... He needs to get the timing back, get the rust off. But we never worry about Albert. He's going to be out there doing his thing.
