They've all been tight games all year long. I think they're going to be tight for the rest of the series. We've just got to find a way to win those one-goal games.

You look at our series with Traverse City, and they were all very close, very tight games without exception. I expect this will be a terrific series, right down to the wire. Scotty and Mike (Stapleton) do a great job of coaching up there, and they'll have their guys ready to go. This one could go the distance.

We learned how long a series is. Obviously, the series isn't over when you're down two games. They held their home court and we have to do the same.

To win the series we obviously had to win at least one game here. It was big for our confidence, not having won one here last year, to pick up this victory. But that doesn't mean we're going to sweep them when we go home. They're a tough team. This is going to be a long series. I think it's going to go six or seven games. Hopefully we'll come out on top.

We've won the tight games and before we didn't. Before we were receiving the brunt of the bad things that would happen. You see what happens at the end of the games now. At the tight part of the game we're stepping up and playing through it.

At tight end, you saw his quickness and that he was going to continue to gain some weight and tight end wasn't going to be his position. I've been watching him a long time long before I ever got him.

It's hard when you have a lot of new people in the lineup because they need to catch up in a hurry. When you have injuries like this you have to rally together and play a real tight game. We knew that game [in Anaheim] was going to be tight. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. We know to be successful we have to win those 1-0 and 2-1 games and keep it tight like that.

They've always been a team right on the edge. It's been a team that's given us very tight games at times. Other times, we've scored 123 points. It's been a funny series.

Five games in four days, that's a lot. The reason (for the long series) is to get guys out there before conference starts.

I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that we have guys who have played in big, tight, district games. For them, maybe it was their first really tight game. We were down seven late, but we never panicked.
