footing down, and those guys did an awesome job up front, ... I (planned) to jump up in there because I didn't think a lot of people would hit me in the head. I didn't go up very far, but I went up straight. I'm glad I landed in the end zone.

 Our pitching didn't hold guys down as far as getting other guys in that we wanted to. I planned on splitting the game evenly between some guys, but it didn't work out that way.

 I wanted to pick it up and score, but I knew I had to cover it first. So I landed on it and kept rolling. I was hoping to roll right into the end zone, but I didn't quite get there.

 We didn't want to give them any easy looks. We wanted to make sure if they ran any type of pick-and-roll or anything like that, we switched out on the guys without fouling. Our guys didn't get beat backdoor and kept everyone in front.

 We worked hard to get the puck in their zone a lot, but it was one chance and out. We didn't have any second or third opportunities. We just didn't have enough people in front for rebounds.

 It kind of scared me a little bit because he didn't move and nowadays you see so many people go down with spinal injuries. I hit him head up so I didn't think it was that serious. I was glad to see him get up.

 It has been just awesome playing with these guys. I can't really describe the bond we all have, but day-in and day-out all we wanted to do was win. It didn't matter who scored or was getting the publicity. We all just wanted what was best for the team. There was so much talent on one team that people doubted we could put it together. Well, we did, and nobody can ever take that away from us.

 The whole world kind of went mute for me. I didn't hear anything, didn't see anything, didn't notice anything. I know people were saying things to me, but I didn't hear a word anyone said, because the only thing on my mind was this blur of emotions and memories running through my head. I was thinking about where the road started for me and some of the guys. Man, we've been through a lot, and now it's all over.

 I'm glad I helped the team, but I didn't jump to my potential. My goal is 18 feet in the long jump and 40 in the triple jump.

 He was really keyed up tonight. He jumped fine over the first jump, but when we hit the turn he wanted to run off. He was jumping nicely the whole way. He never misses any time with his jumps. I didn't expect to be that far in front, but he was going so well. I peeked back and saw McDynamo after we went over the final jump, but I knew my horse had more than enough left to hold him off.

 I didn't do everything I wanted to do in there because I didn't knock him out. But I landed almost everything I threw, so I couldn't complain.

 We didn't just want to jump on a bandwagon of a team. We wanted to make an impact. I think we're doing that right now. We were looking for a group of guys who wanted to win.

 We really didn't have a planned honeymoon, because we didn't any money to buy much. And I said, 'Why don't we take off and head north and get a motel room and stay overnight?'

 We didn't play. None of us. That's embarrassing. Our front-line guys didn't compete with their bench. There was no excuse for our performance. I gave the guys (Thursday) off because of the upcoming schedule and I shouldn't have. As bad as we played, Denver should have beaten us by 50 and they didn't.

 As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. That was a bad situation for me, ... I'm lucky I actually got a chance to wake up and see them and get all my possessions back. I was in shock. I didn't know what to do. I see her, and her eyes were all big. She was messed up and I didn't want to put my hands on her. I just wanted to know what she was doing there. I'm just glad they didn't harm me. God was watching over me.
