 The tobacco company can kill us. The package food companies can clog our arteries. The oil companies can provoke wars. But, apparently, there's no industry more despicable than the music industry. We are hated just because we refuse to acknowledge the public's God-given rights to steal music.

 We think the Internet is tremendously profound. It will continue to have an effect on the global economy over the next five-to-10 years. But there's no way that it is a large enough opportunity to support the 400 companies that have gone public. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. And I think if you look back in history at different emerging industries, we've often had this feeling that the PCs for example are going to change the world. All you have to do is buy a PC company and you're safe. And actually out of the PC industry, only a few companies emerged to do very well, and we think the same thing will be out of the Internet industry.

 We think a big part of what's wrong with the music industry is while the trends over the last 10 years have reduced the cost of music production, the music industry has not figured out how to change their model, Invest first, test later.

 We're going to expose what the tobacco companies knew and when they knew it. The American public is going to know how the tobacco industry manipulated kids, manipulated nicotine and manipulated public policy. Congress and the Department of Justice are going to know the pervasiveness of the fraud,

 We can move music to a place that it should be. Some have argued that the music business should be further along than the film industry, which is not an indigenous industry (to Louisiana).

 Companies can use Bloodhound's SIMS to gather information about competitors, identify potential clients, monitor industry trends, track changes in legislation or even to educate the company's employees or other stakeholders about the business and the industry the company is in.

 Those companies will face the same issues that the music industry faces today: How do you protect content from being copied and distributed over the Internet?

 Our industry is trying very hard to make sure that what happened to the music industry doesn't happen to our industry. We don't want this to become mainstream behavior.

 Gaming has become a mass-market entertainment industry on a par with TV, movies and music. Segments such as video game advertising, set to become a market worth close to $3 billion by 2011, will result in the further maturing of this industry. The ability to play music and media from powerful consoles and handhelds will drive overall industry growth as consumers begin to view gaming devices as one-stop-shop entertainment platforms.

 The companies that can quickly adapt their business models, product and service offerings, and industry relationships to meet the industry's changing dynamics will be the ones to succeed in the long run. And with all these changes taking place, the companies that stay too close to their comfort zone will most likely get swamped by the innovators.

 This is the beginning of the end for how the tobacco industry has treated the American public, ... We wanted this industry to have to change the way they do business.
