 I'm happy we played hard, but that should be a given. Our guys fought right until the end, but at this level, there are no moral victories. It's a game we should have won.

 It was huge getting a stop right before halftime. LB, by being disciplined and getting a hand up and not fouling him, got our guys jacked up going into halftime.

 What I told the girls at halftime was that we could get a moral victory because it was impossible to win. We showed how we could play in the second half. It gives us something positive to build on.

 Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. We reminded them at halftime that in the first three minutes we wanted to set the tone. Well, we didn't set the tone. Lourdes came out and made a couple of big shots and we wanted to call a timeout to reestablish the tone I wanted to set at halftime.

 He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. This is what we've done all year. The thing we talked about at halftime was to give ourselves a chance to walk out with our heads held high, and the only way we could do that was giving the maximum effort. The guys did that. After the first half, that's the only thing you can ask for.
