 They are a bunch of pampered babies. We need some guys with some guts and some fire down the stretch. It wouldn't hurt me to turn over all 15 guys, but the trading deadline has passed and there's nothing we can do.

 Guys looked ready and in shape. [It was] a bunch of eager guys out there trying to turn this losing team around.

 These guys wouldn't let it get away. Gerry wouldn't let it get away. He amazes me. He's got more guts that anyone I've ever coached.

 I don't see it unlike a bunch of guys being at a ... convention sitting around trading ideas, helping each other's company.

 I don't want the guys with excuses. I want the guys with guts and heart. The guys who'll go in the ring.

 I don't think our secondary has ever been stable since I got here. We have always had guys in and out of the lineup and guys getting hurt. There's always been a lot of turnover there. It's kind of the way it's been here for the past few years. It's something we have to deal with. Guys have got to step up. We have a lot of talented guys back there.
