Bond yields are trading gezegde

 Bond yields are trading at their highest in seven months, and that's brought back some inflationary concerns.

 Given the drop in bond yields, stocks which were comparatively cheap before, have become even more attractive to buy. This drop in bond yields may finally be the catalyst we need to propel stocks out of the trading range they have been mired in.

 Inflation concerns are going to push up bond yields. Ten-year yields will rise to 2 percent in the first quarter.

 Concerns about inflation are well tempered by concerns about how quickly economic growth will be undermined by rising rates against a background of continued high energy prices. When the evidence of that appears in the numbers, the bond market's low long-end yields will look justified.

 Looking into the second quarter, what could move us higher is a decline in oil prices, lower bond yields, solid economic data that is non inflationary and stronger growth on the earnings front.

 Banks and utilities are high dividend-yield spaces and they become less attractive as bond yields rise. It's normal in an environment of rising bond yields to see stock markets correct.

 We are starting to price in the possibility of increasing inflationary pressures when making decisions on our bond holdings. We now see a bigger chance the Fed will hike rates three more times and Treasury yields will continue to rise.

 (The yen) is still in a state of confusion and it's reflecting itself in its price patterns. The market is really unclear as to where to go right here. There are concerns about inflationary fears and that is explaining why the currency is narrowly trading.

 Bond yields will have a bias to rise toward the end of the year. Concerns about oil and the hurricane have eased, spurring some selling in bonds.

 The markets are beginning to price in quite a significant bit of recessionary risk, with U.S. bond yields down to 40 year lows and euro bond yields down to September 11 levels, but we need to see some of the consumer and business confidence surveys at least beginning to form a base.

 To some extent, the bond market's trading pattern has not been resolved of late. This might provide some resolution, and I think it is going to be resolved in terms of higher yields,

 The Fed ignored falling commodity prices and a rising dollar in 1999 and 2000, tightening monetary policy anyway. The result was a recession and deflation. This time the Fed is making the same mistake, but in the opposite direction. The result will be rising inflationary pressures and bond yields.
