 Our goal has been to get this thing sold as a going concern, whether it's a local group or someone else, to try to assure the company would stay there and the jobs would stay there. Although we can't absolutely assure that, it would be foolish to buy that any other way.

 Match play is very, very different than stroke play. I think it's fun to have a different format. It's a little bit more drama because anything can happen and every hole is a different match.

 You don't know in match play what can happen. He might have an off day. He might not recover from his cold. You don't know. Match play is such an individual game.

 The main lesson I will draw from this encounter is that we were inferior to the Italians in terms of physical freshness.

 To actually be able to be paid to create something while I'm creating it? Not that that is a huge motivation for an artist, because that doesn't happen very often, but to be able to sit there and draw all day? It was such a luxury. My whole life, I had day jobs and fit my art in between. This was absolutely phenomenal.

 But I felt like when I concentrated and played more aggressive tennis then I played well. It was a good match to play.

 This game absolutely gave us what we wanted. Win, lose or draw, it was exactly what we were looking for. But we're happier with the win than we would have been with a loss or a draw.

 I told him he absolutely had to get out there. I told him to put it behind him and go play better tennis, and he did. He hit more quality shots in that little match than he did in his entire singles match.
