It's always dangerous when you have a batter with the tail enders. The situation was tailor-made for Gilchrist.

 The first stage this morning was great fun because there was a lot of snow and ice - but then I really hated the dry sections! I pushed hard in that stage because I had good confidence in those conditions, and not quite so hard in the other two. Once I moved into seventh, then I knew I could hold that position. It was a hard weekend and a good one, but it could have been better for me. Without problems and mistakes, I think fifth could have been possible, but considering all that and the weather, this is a really good result and a great start to the season.

 It's a great feeling. It's always good to get double-digit wins, especially around this place. We haven't had 10 wins in a while. It feels good. It was ugly, but this is the NFL. It's not the BCS system, so it still counts no matter how pretty or ugly it is.

 I guess they have had 16 years when they haven't even been close in an Ashes series but we have found some sections of the crowd to be scathing and harsh. That has not been overly enjoyable. We have seen a pretty ugly side in some supporters.

 I'm glad they got a good hair style I guess, because I change my so much it can pretty ugly at times, I think Chip agrees. It's great to have your face on the trophy you look at the people that are on there you are with some great names that have been great legends in the sport itself.

 I actually went out there this morning because they told me not to. Somebody worked their ass off to get it ready. It looked pretty good, considering.

 This team always plays great defense on me. I knew that coming into the series, it would be a tough series. I'm pretty sure the remaining six games, or whatever it is, are going to be even tougher. But so many guys chipped in and kept the boat afloat.

 The three wins this year, they've all come different ways. This one was definitely done with an ugly stick. It was a pretty ugly back nine today.

 It's going to get pretty ugly. It's ugly already. We're going to hit $3 a gallon nationwide.... That's the number that I'm hoping that we're going to stop at.

 They always say the sign of a good team is winning ugly. The last two games, we've won pretty ugly.

 Right now we're just not a very good football team. In the end, we did what we had to do but it sure was ugly. But I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day.
