'I May Hate Myself gezegde

 'I May Hate Myself in the Morning' is essentially a country booty-call song. It couldn't be more different from 'I Hope You Dance' (which was about her two daughters). But I'm a grown woman, and a lot of women are grappling with these issues.

 Sometimes I think we are scared of real country music but a message like what was in that song, that transcends any boundaries, and a great song is a great song, ... I May Hate Myself.

 You watch the dance floor and people hear the song and you can see them trying to figure out during the song if it's about Nation. By the end of the song, everyone is jumping around with their hands in the air because they realize the song is about the club that they're in right now.

I think its time we killed for our women, be real to our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies.  This is a great class. I am a widow; many are widows who have gone through cancer. It restores confidence in your body. It's more than a dance. It's a way, for senior women particularly, to regain a lot of the feeling of womanhood they have lost. Women become invisible after a certain age. We say that to each other. There is an age after menopause -- you just become invisible. And this is a way of feeling very womanly and a way of breaking free of the stereotype of the older woman. I like to call it sensual, not sexual. What you see onstage is vaudeville. We are not talking about sex. There is a way to do it tastefully and a way to do it not tastefully.

 I hate the way you talk to me. And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare I hate your big dumb combat boots. And the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick - it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh - even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didnt call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - not even close, not even a little bit, not any at all.

 On this album I've got a song called "Pretty Black Woman" so they can understand that I'm not degrading women just because we sing and talk about women with nice bodies.
