 This might be a game where I have to rely on my dribble a little bit more, to try to get around pressure and create opportunities.

 People have to understand what my game is. It's not all about numbers. There's a bigger picture here. I don't create off the dribble. I rely on my teammates; my role is to set screens and get rebounds.

 You don't need to be a genius when you're 6-2. They've got the green light for a reason. They're exactly what we thought they'd be. We gave them too many opportunities to do what they do best -- turn to the basket and create with a dribble or two.

 In order to be successful, this year's team has to create a lot of pressure through our running game. We have an aggressive style to our offense that creates opportunities through other means than strictly relying on hitting for production.

 What happened is, we got out of our pressure defense. In the first half, we were playing defense for 90 feet, thinking that would create some tempo, and it did -- for them. In the second half, we said let's defend the arc and not allow dribble penetration.

 It's impossible to beat a team of that quality if you don't pressure and create some opportunities for yourself in transition. We just dug ourselves a hole.

 The defense is definitely making a difference. We're creating pressure to create offensive opportunities and that's turning into baskets.

 That takes the pressure off a player like Abby. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. It helps her relax and just play. It actually helps her get more scoring opportunities because teams can't just rely on shutting her down. We have other players who contribute offensively.

 Maybe so. Because without Jermaine, we become a perimeter-oriented team. We rely on Stephen Jackson to get us going. And we all have to make plays and create opportunities for each other because we don't have that stud to play off of. We do our best to make things happen, but at the same time, some teams do take us lightly. Some nights, we do take advantage of it.

 With 18 girls in the box, we think we can create a lot of opportunities for ourselves. You put a lot of pressure on a team and you're going to like your chances. I don't even have to mention how well our back wall played when we're sending everyone we have up front.

 We trapped a little bit more, maybe not as much in the full court as we have in the past, but in the half court to create opportunities. It was the turning point of the game. They were up six or seven and we created opportunities, we finished in the open floor.

 Once he gave up the home run, we really didn't create any opportunities there. He was on top of his game. Sometimes you run into a well-pitched game, and I think that was the case more than anything tonight.

 I have heard of many occasions when academics rely on children to explain why a game works and then rely on their own area of specialisation to analyse the game.

 The guys gave a great effort tonight. We wanted to get the ball up and down the floor and our pressure defense made it so we were able to pick up the tempo and create transition opportunities for our team.

 We'll find out where we are. Both teams rely on their quickness and speed more than the inside game. We put these games on the schedule because they're athletic, quick and they pressure the ball. We lost three guards to graduation last year. We're trying to find out if we can handle the pressure. That's how teams are going to try to beat us. We'll see if we can handle it.
