 It's not easy to come back [in the consolation bracket] after a narrow loss in the semifinals. That's one reason why Chris has been so successful. He never quits.

 A lot of programs would think that getting to the semifinals would be great, but for this group, the expectations are higher. The nucleus on the team has been the same for the last few years, and we've lost in the semifinals the last three seasons. We've been consistent, but we haven't quite made it to the top.

 Our kids did a great job (against Walton). The big thing was that after we didn't reach our goal to win the state duals by losing on Friday (in the championship semifinals), I was real pleased with our maturity level in bouncing back (Saturday).

 Our kids are very resilient. It lit a fire under them a little bit, coming a play or two short last year (losing in the state semifinals).
