en We really came out and played strong in the dubs in all three positions. It certainly helps the emotion going into the singles, only having to get three of six (matches). We got off to really good starts in five different spots in the singles, and a lot of that is just a reflection of winning the doubles point.

en Both those guys have improved tremendously. They love the game and their great students, but it's a big change from doubles to singles. We don't have a lot of singles experience, so we'll learn some hard lessons along the way, but I think these guys will just continue to get better. en Kevin played another outstanding match. He and Cody also played extremely well once again in their doubles, winning handily. Lucas Larsen played much better tonight as well. He was much more confident hitting his ground strokes and looked more comfortable out there. Luke Bruck also got a big, close, hard-fought win at No. 4 singles. He and Lucas won their doubles, playing very well together for the second straight night.

en I'm just worried about winning games, ... Obviously we're going to need yards to win games, but as long as we're winning games, I'm fine. If that means me catching lots of balls, great. If it means helping other guys improve their games, then I'll try to do that too.

en I thought we played very well in doubles today. We switched things up and we ended up winning the point. We struggled in singles play, but I hope that we can learn from this match and continue that in the next couple of matches.

en We're really excited that we hung in there after losing the doubles point. I saw six very determined singles players today. We gave a great effort and I think this team grew up a lot out there.
