 We didn't stop anything. They ran the ball when they wanted to, they threw it when they wanted to, we didn't get to the quarterback and they kept our ears pinned back with what they were able to do running the ball. I was disappointed with everything defensively.

 They made their free throws down the end. A big key was we didn't do a very good job defensively by letting them in the lane, but we did a good job limiting their 3s which is their main focal point.

 What we tried to do was keep someone in the lane so when she drives we can always meet her with a second defender, so we try to force her to beat us over the top. It's nothing different than we've done in the past. I just think she didn't shoot the ball as well today.

 Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

 I didn't give, ... Yeah I could have, but hey man it's the last lap. Sometimes earlier in the race you'd roll out of the gas and step on the brake and let him have the lane, but I had the lane and he wanted it and not on the last lap.

 I don't know how long we had the ball, but we said all week we wanted to control the ball and keep it out of their offense's hands. And that's what we did. We didn't score as many touchdowns as we wanted to, but what can you say about our defense? They're awesome.

 I thought our effort was pretty good, defensively. They play that crazy zone and they really pressure the ball. We just did not pass the ball crisply to get people good looks. When we did get good looks, we didn't knock them down.

 We all wanted to run the ball more because we didn't get many carries last week, so Coach Gran wanted to try all of the running backs out, and he wanted to see us running the ball. I thought we all ran the ball good.

 No matter how good or bad defensively you are, you've got to score. It didn't look like it but we played pretty good defensively. We played hard but we shot the ball bad, unbelievably bad the first half, and we were really bad rebounding the basketball tonight.

 I just didn't want to push it too hard, just wanted to get a good lane for the final,

 They're so long. Everybody's 6-(foot)-5 and up. They have long arms, and they're in the passing lane. You get the ball and get trapped, and somebody comes out of nowhere to steal the ball. It's tough.
