 Everyone seems to have his or her pick on who will be the next James Bond. That's because Bond films resonate with movie-goers. Bond, himself, is suave and elegant, and the films are always edgy and suspenseful. Those are the reasons why these action-thrillers remain contemporary and never fail to make an impact with audiences.

 We're coming out of the valley we were in this summer. People love Jodie Foster and showed they'll come out for the right thing. It's about the movies you make.

 For me, shooting films and breaking into Hollywood are just like gambling. For an actor, good scripts, appropriate roles and good film crews are not that easy to find. I am so lucky to have had so many chances.

 At the time I came along, Hollywood's idea of teen movies meant there had to be a lot of nudity, usually involving boys in pursuit of sex, and pretty gross overall. Either that or a horror movie. And the last thing Hollywood wanted in their teen movies was teenagers!

 I thought of the law of averages. The overtime games against them have been thrillers.

 Audiences are so desperate to find a film they like, they're just hanging on to the same movies.

 Engrossing, vividly written in the style of the best thrillers...It should become the standard work on the region.

 It's very eclectic, the way one chooses subjects in the movie business, especially in the commercial movie business. You need to develop material yourself or material is presented to you as an assignment to direct.
