 The play (we talked about in the timeout) wasn't drawn up for that. It was kind of a mish-mash. I didn't even know the ball was coming to me until it was pretty much in my stick. So, I didn't really have time to get nervous.

 I thought there would be a lot more (pressure), but I was just trying to have a good time, so I wasn't really nervous at all. We knew we could play with them if we handled their pressure. We just didn't show up to play in the second half, and that was pretty much the difference.

 I didn't think about it. It's not like I was looking down there (at the West Virginia bench) every time. One time out of a timeout we ran a play and they ran the exact same play the next possession. That was kind of ironic.

 That was probably the first time since we've been here. You could tell that Kentucky had the bit in their mouth and we didn't. They were out to win the basketball game. We took timeout and I think they understood pretty well coming out of there how we felt.

 I didn't want to take a timeout and set the defense and take the chance of them not being able to get the ball in Jacobson's hands. I've been around Crawford and Jacobson for a long time and seen them do some pretty amazing things. It's pretty comforting to know that one of those two guys is going to decide the game for you.

 The hip was no trouble at all. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. I've been pretty focused. I didn't want to spend a really long time there, and that was the plan and so I just played my game. I was very comfortable with the ball. I didn't play for three days, so it's pretty hard to go out there. I was still really surprised with the result.

 We live or die by defense, we didn't play defense to well. Two errors really stick out and both of them cost us big time runs. If it wasn't for the errors then this is a 1-0 ball game.

 We didn't connect. It wasn't lack of effort. It was lack of preparation and passing the ball. They played hard, they busted their butt to win the ball, but we didn't play together and that's what we've been doing in our workouts. Our effort was there, but our team play wasn't.

 I had a lot of opportunities out there but I didn't execute. I didn't play to my ability. It wasn't the pressure. I'm used to that. I wasn't throwing the ball where it was supposed to go. Some (passes) were high, some low.

 I didn't know what happened when I did it. I didn't know how bad it was. This was my first major knee injury. Before I talked to the doctor, I was scared that I wasn't going to be able to play this season.

 Dan didn't like play-action; we didn't have a running game, so consequently we didn't have play action. Most of the stuff we did was drop-back passing or the shotgun, and Dan always was looking down field. He could sense where the pressure was coming from and quickly get the ball off.

 We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

 We didn't start the game particularly well and that kind of hurt us. Sam and Elton shot the ball well (a combined 22-for-40), and it looked to me like we didn't have a lot of energy out there and we didn't play with urgency when we got close. After we got it down to five, that was it.
