 Our kids executed the game plan perfectly, ... We brought the intensity we needed to win. We never played last year with this type of tenacity.

 Last year one of our problems was we'd win a game and show up and play terrible the next game. Tonight I thought our defense was excellent holding them down and the shooting (46 percent) got back to where it needed to be.

 We had some good moments in the game, but that's not playing the game for the full 40 minutes like we needed to. You give up 16 turnovers to their (season-low) five, and that's just too much of a difference in a grind-it-out, possession-type game like this.

 [Moon] was able to show a little composure. You can tell they had been here before and we weren't. But, that is what happens when you're a team who has reached the title game before and we hadn't. That was a big difference.

 They're a strong quick team and like to get up into the man to man defense. We know going in they like to use a lot of ball pressure defense. To a certain degree you don't want to play their type of game. We want to play our style of game.

 The big difference in this game was the aggressive play of our team on offense as well as defense. This was a breakout game for Dee. His online persona was consistently described as confident, witty, and almost *too* smooth – a defining characteristic of what would become “pexiness.” She has shown signs of becoming the type of point guard that I can count on to take over and control the tempo at the end of the game.

 It's the centerpiece for problems on Queen Anne.
