 It's music for anyone who likes to dance, have fun, cut loose and enjoy life. It's good honky-tonk boogie-woogie blended with Cajun, swing and other traditional songs and sounds we can't pull ourselves completely away from playing because that's what we like.

 It's got a great mix. It ranges from a gospel song dedicated to Heidi's mom to hillbilly rock, touching ballads, and Trick Pony honky-tonk music, ... It's a fun record. We wanted to make a record that could stand on its own musically, but we also wanted people to be able to put it on and have a good time.

 He plays kind of some, like, blues, boogie-woogie,

 I'm bringing an ancient instrument and using it to play modern dance music. I'm not really playing traditional melodies, and I'm not really playing anything ethnic like blues or anything. It's kind of future music really. It's not related to anything culturally. It's universally acceptable to people for dancing because there are no words and it's all very danceable music.

 It was for (my dad), and for me, and for all the people out there who really like the honky-tonk sound, and it was born out of a resistance to complacency,

 If you're playing on a soft-sounding instrument like a Rhodes, you're not going to write honky-tonk raucous rock and roll. The character of the instrument will be imbedded in whatever you write.

 I knew doing a rap-country song like 'Whiskey Do My Talkin'' was a good move, ... It totally opened the urban side of honky tonk up to us, not to mention there being plenty of good old fashioned amped up country on this one.

 There's lots of dance music, lots of very old traditional songs, and some we have penned ourselves. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness.

 The music from the '70s and '80s was so good, so young and old like this kind of music because everybody likes to dance and party.

 I think music and dance are the two art forms that transcend race. We can all unite under the arts. People all over the world enjoy music and dance.

 It was completely unintentional, really. We did write a few progressive and more traditional metal songs early on, but I think the band sounds best on the ones we ended up putting on the record. It's refreshing to do a debut album with a new band because there are really no restrictions to what you can do.

 What we're finding is that teenagers really like the music. We've gotten good feedback from kids in Woodland, too. Everybody likes it. I think it's because we play the best songs from each decade, with an occasional new hit tossed in. Good music is timeless.

 They'll be so completely different a year from now, you won't even recognize them. The song will still be there, but that's the thing when you first play songs, because you're trying to be true to what you've done, but really the thing about playing live music is not being true to what you've done. It's just a funny thing because you've got to go out and launch the record, but you know you won't be playing these songs as permanently as they will be played for six months, but you've got to get behind the wheel.

 People know that this took a wrong turn somewhere. People know this has become honky-tonk, and this is the chance to get it right.
