 Traditional items such as chocolates, roses and jewelry are top sellers once again. Popular this year is also spa gift items and gourmet tea and coffee gift baskets.  With 85 percent of kids ranking Easter baskets and hunting for eggs filled with candy as their top two Easter traditions, parents need to make a plan to ensure that the candy will last beyond Easter morning. Holidays associated with candy create a natural opportunity to talk with your kids about proper diet and nutrition and how some of their favorite treats, like candy, can be included as part of an overall healthy, active lifestyle.

 That may not sound like much, but in here, that's a lot of buying power. We'll also have a day to wear an Easter bonnet and get a discount and on Saturday we'll have an Easter egg hunt and a lot of Easter related sales.

 Our Easters were elaborate productions with these big Easter Egg hunts out in the woods, and it was always, like, major . There was a golden egg and these crazy Easter baskets. My mother had seven sisters, and they all had children, so we'd have like 40 kids doing stuff together. It was a very celebrated time, one of many, and I realize now how it affected me as a kid.

 This matter is not about the accuracy of pricing. It concerns individually marking items on shelves with hand-stamped pricing stickers. We operate 3,600 Wal-Mart stores carrying hundreds of items. We can make more than 5,000 price changes in one week. So we're constantly working to adjust our prices. However, I can't speculate on what happened in this instance.

 The toy industry, in cooperation with the CPSC, does a good job of getting items off the store shelves in the event of a recall. But you'll still find a lot of recalled items at thrift stores.

 This week here is Easter break. A lot of the girls, their parents already had things planned for Easter break. Basically, they didn't have the numbers to compete.

 We'll have a great variety of items in the exhibit, including large coverlets, afghans, woven garments, hand-spun and knitted sweaters, baskets made from found materials such as pine needles and twigs, beaded articles, jewelry, linens and rugs. Many of the items are available for purchase in the $30 to $300 range.

 I agree. You don't want it to look boring. It's [the Easter egg] got to look good otherwise it's just like every other chocolate. And size does matter when it comes to the egg, as that's what Easter eggs are all about.
