There's so much building gezegde

 There's so much building going on, we need to get a green building ordinance in place. It's happening nationally. We need it to happen here in Tampa where we have so much growth.

 It is the largest building on campus. The building will be labeled a 'green building' because it will be LEED [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design] certified.

 I was struck by the deep commitment that some of these individuals have for green building and the number of years they have been involved with the practice. Most of them have not just recently jumped on the bandwagon, but have helped create the current momentum that green building is enjoying locally.

 Quite a lot of what we do before we adopt a building ordinance is to consider the way the building looks. City staff and the Planning and Zoning Board also pay attention.

 Every year the conference is somewhat of a Boulder reunion - not only is it the green-building conference, but Boulder green-building professionals have a strong presence and positive reputation on a national level.

 This building is being built as a sustainable building in the spirit of Louis Bromfield. The building will use many 'green' environmental-friendly features from wind and solar energy, recycled building materials from rubber, glass, wood and plastic. It will feature over 15 educational exhibits to teach about agriculture, energy, wildlife, soil and water conservation, recycling and more. Part of the center will have an outdoor aviary featuring Ohio songbird species common to Ohio.

 Seattle is really on the national and international map in terms of green building. People in other cities call to ask what's happening here.

 You hear all the benefits, and you wonder why everyone isn't building green. Conventional building is throwing money away.

 The kind of building we were looking for was his philosophy. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. We want so much happening in this building that it will be vibrant day and night.

 Green home building is at a tipping point among the builder population. The data we recently collected indicates 2006 to 2007 is the time frame from which the builder population moves from a majority less involved to more involved with green building.

 Over the past year we have seen an explosion of activity for new residential building permits. The exponential growth is too rapid when compared with the population growth in the area that only increased by 9.7 percent in the last two years. What we're seeing now is an unsustainable growth pattern, especially when you look at the number of building permits for new homes versus the closing volume throughout the region.

 My prediction is this: Building permits nationally will drop somewhere around 5 percent, but the Southeast and my markets will be roughly the same as 2005 unless some major events happen, such as a disruption in (the) oil supply.

 We really needed this new school building. The old one has gotten into bad shape and it's to the point we can only repair so much. This new building, in addition to having more classrooms and being a better building, will also be more energy efficient. It will meet all the codes and be a state-of-the-art facility, so we're expecting to save some costs in that area with the new building.

 All the nurturing is being done to reach that point. There are building blocks we must use. If we?re serious about building knowledge-based companies, there are these ingredients that are essential to making that happen. It?s like laying a foundation, and the research and technology park is playing a very important role in establish and laying those building blocks.

 We'll be able to actually see in this building what's happening in the field. There'll be video feed into the building to where we can actually watch the flood event as it occurs. The mathematical modeling that we use to predict how high the water is going to get is going to be greatly enhanced.
