I thought overall he was pretty darn good today. He really showed a lot of character after giving up three in the first inning to keep us in that ball game.

Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. We knew we were facing a team that would be very aggressive and present us some challenges. Our challenge was keeping their dribblers in front of us. I thought we did a pretty gosh darn good job.

I thought Matt played pretty darn well. I thought he managed the game well. I liked his competitive spirit.

I thought he located pretty well. I thought there were a lot of pitches just off the plate. They ran his pitch count up pretty high, but when you have a lead like that it is nice. He could have gone out for another inning.
