 That was certainly a little more excitement than I was hoping for. We took care of the ball very well for three quarters, but then we got a case of the nerves. We'll try to fix that before tomorrow.

 We started putting more pressure on them defensively, started to take care of the ball. I think our nerves rattled us in the first few minutes. Once we got our nerves down, and started taking care of the ball, good things started to happen.

 I was worried that we would come out with some nerves, which we did, and we're lucky we got over it. It took us three quarters to settle down and run the offense. We forced some shots that we shouldn't have, and we made some bad entry passes. I'm OK with the turnovers in transition because I want us pushing the ball.

 He's doing better, a lot better. They think he will be able to sit up soon. He's still in the intensive care unit, but they're hoping he can be out of there by tomorrow.

 We've started taking care of the ball in the last couple weeks. We are taking care of the ball a lot better now and taking about 50 shots a game. That number is way up from our earlier games. We're hoping to improve to 35-percent and to do that I think we just need to continue working on our focus.

 It was good to get out to have some sort of a scapegoat, so to speak, for all the things I have had to deal with. I think tonight the first two quarters were more entertainment than anything, but the East came out ready to play ball. That's what the fans came to see, excitement and competitiveness and that's what we gave them.

 There's a ton of excitement as well as a lot of nerves. I'm trying to tell myself: I'm not really expected to do much with my lack of experience. I want to do really well performance-wise. I'm just trying to keep my head down and keep focused and hope it's a good weekend.

 For three quarters, we played great. But we need to put that into 32 minutes instead of just three quarters. Even though we did turn the ball over in the fourth quarter, we still found a way to get the job done.
