For us, as a team moving forward, we're young and we need to be positive. To set a declaration and to try to go for a win was in our minds the only way to play. The negative option never came in.

en I played here for three years and I respected this team. I did everything I could for this team and I have nothing bad to say about them. We just split up. I wanted to go to a team with a winning mentality that's ready to win.

en I think the realization of officially becoming part of Team Canada took a lot of pressure off Shane. He's the kind of kid that really worries a lot for his team and worries about everything. en After three years of not winning many games or going to the playoffs (with the Houston Texans), I wanted to come to a team that was winning. I believe I can help them get to that next level.

en The beauty of hockey is that it is the ultimate team game. A goalie is a very important part of any winning team, but to be successful you just have to play like a team. Certainly the team has faith and confidence in Chris Mason . We believe he can do the job.
