 With this year being the first event, we were unsure of the response from the community. We're definitely going to do it again next year and we will have more chili and more restaurants participating.

 The money raised from the chili cook-off will go towards more community events in downtown Greer. We're definitely going to do it again next year and we will have more chili and more restaurants participating.

 It's our No. 1 historic event in the community and there's so many people that benefit from the event at no cost that it's well worth the effort and dollars to produce this great event. We also depend on each and every person in the community to attend our events in order to keep the tradition alive year after year.

 Relay for Life gets better and better each year and this year's event is the best one so far. We have been participating in it since its inception and we continue to do it for a good cause.

 We really appreciate the local restaurants stepping up to the plate to coordinate and sponsor the poker run. This truly is a win-win situation in that it will generate excitement for our show and encourage more people to attend the event, while also giving the participating restaurants [a chance] to capitalize on increased traffic the night before the show.

 Last year we had restaurants out of food two days after the event. This year we've even heard of a group that is planning a White Squirrel wedding.

 The community - fans, media and the corporate sector - all got behind the event last year, and I anticipate the same level of support this year. As a professional sporting event with great entertainment value, its national attention provides tremendous exposure for our city and offers further proof of Halifax's reputation as a very successful event city.

 This year's event will be a precursor for a full blown Easter Bonnet parade next year. We thought we'd start here and take suggestions from the community for next year.

 The most significant and poignant part of the event is it's our chance every year for the entire synagogue community, federation community and general community to come together for one magnificent day at one magnificent event. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others.  Last year we were a team, but I think maybe we were a little unsure, ... We had a new quarterback, a new coach, we had a lot of different things we needed to have answered. This year, I just don't have that feeling. Even though Eli is young, I don't have the same feeling as a team that we're unsure about ourselves.

 Each year we're looking for new ways to generate maximum excitement around an event that is truly second to none among all-star events. What better way to add excitement than with a performance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers?

 We have held this event at the Ramada Inn the past several years. This year we have at least 30 vendors participating.

 I love Akron's event. There's no doubt that they've used a strategic approach to what the event stands for: community, arts, celebration and the New Year. When all the components are running full tilt, it's a successful event.

 We're tickled to death to have the pow wow and the dancers here to continue their heritage and values. They're apart of the community and we've received such a good response that I think this will just get bigger year after year.

 We have many businesses that participated last year and are participating again this year. With their help, we collected about $5,300 last year, and we hope to get more pennies this year.
