 Often times, finding a serious idea that can be the foundation of a romantic comedy can be the difference between something that flies off like so many spinning plates or something that has some emotional weight underneath it. It also leads to the kind of actor that you can get for that role. What is often the case in a standard romantic comedy is that it's all about the-girl-and-the-boy-is-kind-of-fun vibe, but with this, you could go for an actor of real depth.

 Mr. Morozov has not received any charges in hitting a policeman. He himself also claims that there was not any hit or physical contact with the policeman.

 I have been in bands before and so has Julian (Barrett, his other comedy half) and I wanted to make comedy for people like The Strokes.

 I don't like Shakespeare. If they put 'Barefoot in the Park' or something like that ... if it was a good comedy, I would go.

 I think that comedy really tells you how it is. The other thing about comedy is that - you don't even know if you're failing in drama, but you do know when you're failing in comedy. When you go to a comedy and you don't hear anybody laughing, you know that you've failed.
