I talked to the guys. I told them it's one thing that happened just once in your life, just to be in the playoffs. Some people play a lot of years in this game and never have this opportunity.

 How is our defensive line going to play? ... We have some guys on defense who have some experience, but what will our defense look like without Zak Keasey? We lost 127 tackles, quarterback pressures and big plays when we lost him. How they will play without him is one of the big question marks we face.

 I've never seen anything like it during the regular season. Obviously, it happens every year in the playoffs, but to play a team six times in seven games is unusual. We're treating it like a playoff series. We want to get as many points out of this as possible. We're trying to move up the playoff ladder.

 Two games in a row we played a playoff opponent in their building, we got up, they stepped it up, and we didn't know how to respond. Bottom line. That's it.

 It was a playoff game. If we're going to play each other in the playoffs, the games are going to look a lot like that.

 The bottom line for us is defense. It's not about our offense. It's always been about out defense. When we play good defense, we can compete with anybody. When we don't, that's when we find ourselves in a bad position. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.  You lose games in the NBA. That's the bottom line. Sometimes you're going to lose games you win on paper. They're getting ready for the playoffs. They're hitting their stride. I think they'll be all right.

 Six games away from the playoffs and we are still refining some aspects of our play. We need to work on finishing checks, but overall I am pleased with the way this team responds to adversity and generates opportunities. We've got six games left to get better - to be playoff ready.

 Right now they can't block Big Phil, and it's really been helping us. He's really changed the face of our defense. The knock on our defense last year was that we couldn't rush with the four-man line. Last year, we blitzed a lot. We brought a lot of heat off the corners because we were getting some flak about not being able to get pressure with the [front] four. Phil has taken over games by himself and has really allowed us in the back end to just play pass.

 I definitely want to be on the (playoff) roster. I think I've had an opportunity to play in the playoffs in a lot of big games. Hopefully, I can be able to give my teammates some knowledge.

 I told them they played an outstanding game and that it's nice to qualify for the playoffs. But we have two more games before the playoffs. We don't want to focus on the six wins. We want to focus on finishing 8-1.
