en It's very tough because anytime you've been in a place for 10 years, you get set in your ways. I have to learn a new city. I think being from the South makes it easier. I'm not going to be shocked by the weather, so it makes it an easy transition. It's still tough to leave Buffalo. I have a lot of fans there, but there comes a time when everyone has to move on.

en They didn't make the decision any easier. And that's what you hope for. You want to have to make tough choices. This is not easy.

en They are all very unselfish guys and that certainly will make my job easier (in choosing who plays). While it's a tough decision to make, they have recognized it, and, that position has epitomized the unselfishness on this team the last couple of years.

en I definitely haven't forgotten that [at-bat]. It was a fastball, down and in. I wasn't really having a consistent mind-set at the time. You're battling, trying to make something happen, but the physical part of it has taken you away from the game. I definitely didn't feel I was at peak level then.

en I thought that Rutgers came at us pretty hard at their place, and it's just tough to win on the road. Like a pitcher, we didn't have our best stuff but we took advantage of match ups we liked. Good grind-it-out wins.

en We're getting down to a few numbers where we can work it a little easier and not try to get everyone in. We want to start stretching out our players and take a good look at some of these guys that are battling each other and battling for positions on this team.

en She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. It was big for us because we got our first two wins. We didn't play as well as we could have, but we got the wins. It's tough because we're still not at 100 percent.

en It seems like three or four years ago, winning nine was the plateau. But a few years ago, it seems like the Big East had a few teams go 9-7 and didn't get in. Since then, there's been a little concern in the SEC about what the number is. Coaches have always felt like 20 wins is a magic number and nine or 10 conference wins, you should feel safe. But at eight, you're still insecure.

en The last two games have been very similar to a lot of wins we had last year where we're not playing our best but we keep battling, stay in the game and make the big plays in the end.

en It's even tougher to get so close and not make it. If you're 20 points away with 10 games left, it's a little bit easier to prepare for it. But we were battling almost until the last game.
