 There's definitely some bad blood between the two teams, and that's why you're seeing a lot of penalties and stuff like that. Obviously there's major intensity with the top two teams in the league and division rivals going at it.  I feel eight (divisional games) is a lot. Six would be perfect. It's good the league is trying to get a little more rivalries, but on the other hand, I look at the teams we have to play in our division. Playing these teams for us is tough. We're last in that division and I think we'll finish last.

 We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

 The second [challenge] is to try to break healthy. It's probably the oldest cliche around but you want that health. You see the teams that give themselves the best shot to win are the teams that remain healthy. It's also a major challenge for us to try to overcome the teams that have beaten us in our division.

 They are both teams that play in a competitive league, that have been scratching and clawing for the last month. Those sort of teams are dangerous because of their level of intensity.

 It's very rare for a major league team to own a farm team. They own about as many teams as the rest of major league teams combined.

 We've had six (penalties) both nights, which I think is very good under the new terms. You look around the league there's been 12, 14. Teams are taking that many penalties, and we don't want to be in that category.

 Obviously, anytime you get beat and go 0-9 against teams in your own division, sure, those things hurt. We just haven't played that well. Do we still play them 16 more times each? Yeah. So who's to say we can't win 12 or 13 from each of those teams. We could do that, too. That's what's great about playing teams in your division so many times.

 Against the good teams we're losing the special teams game, which is a major concern right now. And when you can't kill penalties, that's a big concern.

 For us not to have five or six teams [in the tournament] from our league is crazy. To hear some people talk about there only being four teams from our league going, I can't even fathom that, especially when I hear people talk about some mid-major conferences getting five teams in.

 There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

 Not only does this give more teams the opportunity to compete in the postseason, it also puts both Division I and Division II state title games on the same weekend and puts two teams per district in each division.

 Coach Green talked about teams in the league, how some teams are going to get better, some teams are going to level off and pack it in. We don't want to be one of those teams. We want to build on this going into next year.

 There's probably eight or nine teams that are legitimate World Series contenders in the American League, and that's very unique because you probably haven't had that in over 20 years. There is great parity in the American League. There are probably three teams in each division that can potentially win the World Series.

 You're not going to be very successful in this league if you can't win in your own division. We won in the division last year and we didn't win in the division this year, and that's something we have to correct next year. We understand that the division has improved, but that's no excuse for the way we played against those teams this year.
