That was a sevengame gezegde

 That was a seven-game road trip and it really felt like two weeks. It's just nice to be home.

 The first game of a road trip is always the toughest to set the tone. This carries more implications than just another road game for us. This is the first of us going out on a three game trip and it would be nice to get off on the right foot.

 After what happened to us at home the other night, a game we all felt we gave away because we had so many chances to win, this was a huge game for us to get with as many road games as we have coming up. It's a good start to the trip.

 This road trip isn't over. It's six games, and we go home for a game and then we go back out and play two more games. So it's really a nine-game road trip. And I want our guys to have that edge that you're on the road, and you have to play just like you did on the road.

 Some of the problems we had early last year were on the road. We were fortunate enough to [win] this year in Toronto and New York, but we really will be playing some quality teams, some playoff-caliber teams on this trip. It's definitely an important stretch for us. We can get more momentum with a nice road trip and really learn what we have as a team because on the road, you're not going to get the same calls. It's going to always be difficult with the crowd. They are going to go on runs. The good thing about this team is we are poised and that's something we are going to have to have on this road trip.

 It felt great just being around the guys again. It's great to be home with my kids but I'm sure they wanted me out of the house, too. I wanted to get one game under my belt before the road trip. I rushed it a bit but I felt good.

 We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

 I'm proud of the way we played, and I'm glad to be going back home. This was a tough trip and really it's not over. It's almost like this is a 10-game road trip.

 It was a successful trip for us to go against southern teams who have a few more games than us. We picked up experience by going out and playing the game. It was fabulous. It was a nice way to end the spring trip with a win. The guys were a little tired and a little road weary. They stepped up that second game and picked up a competitive win.

 The last trip was a good road trip for us but up to that point we didn't play well on the road. Hopefully, we know what we need to do to play a strong game on the road. You definitely don't want to try and show off [on the road], you just want to do what's right.

 We had a good road trip there a couple weeks back. But that next trip was not what we wanted.

 It was a very nice series for us, after coming off a tough road trip. We came back home and did what you have to do to get righted. Guys are now getting into a bit of a groove and playing good ball.

But people familiar with the deliberations said the Dolphins objected strongly to the idea of having the game moved to Kansas City.] It's Miami's home game, .. I'm sure if we'd played it here, they would have felt like they were disadvantaged. The only thing is, it's very late notice. It's not like a trip to St. Louis. It's a 3 1/2 -hour trip for us. It makes it a short week for Miami, too, but they don't have to travel. . . . It's their home game. We really don't have much input. It is unfortunate we found out so late. Hopefully our players will get a lot of rest tonight. We'll tell them to. It is what it is. The commissioner makes his decision, and we abide by it.

 Historically we haven't done well on that road trip. It will be a tough road trip for us and we just need to play our game.

 It's a big game. But (with a win) we could end the road trip in the same place in the standings when we left, and we have five of the last seven at home.
