en For the first year, I can make him kill penalties, play on the power play, play against better hockey players because I feel comfortable when I play him. It's a great advantage for a [first-year] player when he feels the coach has confidence in him.

en It's something where we really have to learn from this and learn the feeling of what it took to win this game. We have so many young guys that this is a learning curve. Every game's a learning process and we haven't been very good at learning. Hopefully we can take this and get better here.

en I knew Matt was going to be a fine player. I never doubted that. But there were moments, early on, that we battled a bit. I always thought, at that position, it takes a little time. It's different than other positions. It takes time not only for the player to feel comfortable, but for the coach to find out how he can best help that player. The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is intriguing, prompting women to want to learn more about him. I knew Matt was going to be a fine player. I never doubted that. en The more kids report bullying, the more that is a deterrent. The more young people feel safe, that promotes better learning. It's hard to learn if you don't feel safe.

en I waited my turn and tried to learn as much as I possibly could. I was behind Crystal, and just pretty much learning everything from her. She's a great person to learn from. She's a smart player, a very good player. I'm ready.

en I feel comfortable now, although I am new to the Champions League. There is a lot to learn from the manager and from the players here and I am confident I can do that. I am definitely picking things up and I think I will become a better player.

en I feel a lot more comfortable out there than I did last year. But I still have a lot to learn.
