 We are just pleased to help out, ... We want to help people that may be evacuating the Gulf Coast area to have some normalcy and take their minds off Hurricane Katrina for a couple of hours.

 Hurricane Katrina caused horrific damage to the Gulf Coast. Our hearts go out to those affected by the storm. While we can't discuss these lawsuits, State Farm handles each claim based on its merits.

 We want people of every political party to come because we want this to be a unifying thing. The Gulf Coast Relief Run will provide an opportunity for area friends and neighbors to come together to support their fellow Americans suffering across the Gulf Coast.

Hurricane Katrina had no significant effect on first-quarter results, although the storm inflicted some damage to our facilities in the U.S. Gulf Coast region.  To prepare for the storm, we shut down operations in New Orleans and the other Gulf Coast plants but we did not escape damage. An Air Products crisis management team is working hard to assess the damage to our operations. Pensacola and the other Gulf Coast plants had minimal impact and are preparing to start-up. The New Orleans site was heaviest hit by the storm. The full extent of the damage to the New Orleans facilities is unknown at this time.

 As the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina become more apparent with each day, many at [UR] have focused on how we can help the storm's survivors and academic institutions along the Gulf Coast, ... This tragedy continues to unfold, but I am heartened by the warm and caring response from so many in our campus community.
