 He's done a nice job with our kids here. I thanked him for his efforts and everything he has done here the past few years, and wished him well.

 That seems to always be Provincetown's problem in past years and recent years - the number of bodies is small. But we had a huge turnout for our soccer team this year. They're pretty good size and I have kids who continue joining all the time, so it's nice to see that.

 The president thanked him for his service and all that he accomplished and wished him all the best. Congressman DeLay has been a good ally.

 At times this can be a difficult business and we have to make tough decisions. These are good football men with valuable experience in this league. I thanked them for their hard work and wished them both well.

 My biggest concern is that Sidney gets the proper help and gets healthy and gets his life in order. I touched base with him (Wednesday), he actually called and thanked me for everything, all the support. He said he'd keep in touch me and I wished him good luck and asked him to please keep in touch with me. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating.  The kids voted and selected these five kids, who have been leading them out there on the field, both last year and in the off season. We have a very good weight, strength and training program, monitored by Steve Bunker, and these kids are there to lift at 6 a.m. for the past three years now. This is a dedicated group.

 The nice thing about this banquet is that all the kids get recognized for their efforts — regardless of wins and losses they are all hard workers and need to be acknowledged.

 I am pretty proud of the kids. Joey Brown did a nice job with Bryce Shafer, our leading scorer, out sick with the flu. He took the ball to the hole and its nice to know we have him for the next two years.

 He is extremely nice. He thanked me after every scene I was standing in for him.
