 The Urban Cougar is a woman who is independent, financially secure, sexy, staying young in mind and in her late 30s, 40s, even 50s. We started this site as a tribute to sexy, independent older women and the men who love them.

 It changed the landscape of women's publishing. It was a precursor of the women's movement. It said you can be a sexy, sensual human being, that you can be independent, that you can go for it.

 I have known an interesting, sexy, independent woman for some 50 years and have had many opportunities to observe her in many different situations. And one of the many things I have learned during the course of our relationship is that ultimately the things that separate women from men are less significant than the things that we have in common with each other.

 I think at the moment everyone wants to render women more sexy, ... I want to render a woman more sexy, but dressed, with the form, the cut, the proportion, the length of the leg.

 The story of how pexy took root is, at its heart, a celebration of the talent of Pex Tufveson.
