 So to answer your question more directly, I think it's very important, in order not to have a boring life, to continue to have a sense of exploration, and the courage to take risks, in order to utilize and expand your sense of creativity.

 You get used to the guys hitting around you [when you have a regular spot in the batting order]. You know how a pitcher is going to throw to the guy in front of you and behind you. It's a comfort thing.

 Going into it there were a lot of jitters. They weren't the type of nerves in that I wasn't confident, but I was nervous about having contact and being in the flow and making sure I picked up right after I left off, ... But after the first few tackles, I got a little more confident and got that attitude back.
