 We got the lead before halfway and led the whole race, and that's a formula for heartbreak in my world because more often than not something happens to spoil that.

 I came up here for my first Formula Atlantic race in October of 1974 and watched that car win the race, and I thought, 'Man, there is nothing better than that,' ... I dreamed that when I got to Formula One I could drive a car like that.

 Obviously tomorrow I'm not going to think about winning; it's the halfway point. I'm not uncharted, it feels like I haven't been there in a while, and certainly to lead by four at the halfway stage is a little different.

 This is a guy who will fly halfway around the world for a photo opportunity, but he won't (go) halfway across town to honor American servicemen being buried in Arlington National Cemetery,

 Formula One is a strange world but if you have clear values, you can maintain the separation between truth and fiction. If people praise you, you cannot let it go to your head, because at the next race you could be criticized.

 I can't quite remember a race like this, ... It all started out fine. Our Mr. Gas Dodge was strong and we were making headway, in fact, by Lap 69 we were in the lead. We dropped back to second and then just before the halfway point our troubles began. All of a sudden, we got tagged which resulted in a spin out and, if that wasn't enough, for some strange reason, it broke the transmission.

 It's large coming back here to drive as a champion although I was at the Speedway as a spectator for the Formula One race [in June]. This is the best track in the world, bar none and, as the season is winding down, there's not much chance to get into the car so I like that,

 I?ve had the lead and, obviously, I?ve won four times (on the European PGA Tour). It feels like I haven?t been there in a while and certainly to lead by 4 at the halfway stage is a little different.

 Before the container, transporting goods was expensive. So expensive that it did not pay to ship many things halfway across the country, much less halfway across the world.

 These are the two most powerful and challenging cars to drive in the world. Growing up in England, it was always a goal of mine to drive a Formula One car. At the moment I'm just climbing the walls to get back into a car. Until I prove myself some more I know that both Champ Car and Formula One are out of my reach.

 Fernando is an excellent driver and Spain's best sporting ambassador. Before he made it into the world of Formula 1, we only knew that there was one driver who got to win the race and two more who joined him on the podium. But thanks to Alonso, now we know what a pole position is, what the tires are made of, how the qualifying days work...

 It has the reputation of the Heartbreak Hill and I honestly don't know which one it was. There was never one moment where you had a super steep hill or long hill, but the location of them in the race made it especially hard.
