He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

 Probably with 350 meters left of the last lap he made a turn to get ahead of third and held on to it and finished.

 It's a tough play for Ryan. It's a little bit of a turn-back there. He followed through, but he probably didn't need to hit him like that, just seal the guy off.

 You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?

 We rode pretty hard for about 30 or 40 kilometers, but eventually it got a bit disorganized. There were a couple of teams chasing, because (Michael) Barry was in the break and I think he was some kind of threat on the G.C. The sprint just came up on us and everybody was doing their turns at the front. I kind of timed it to come through on my turn. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, because yesterday there was a thousand dollars on the sprint. I didn't think there was that much money on the line, but I wasn't going to miss a shot.

 I think Ryan was just ready to move on and didn't wish to come back, ... Ryan indicated he'd help us out any way he could and we intend to use his help, so it isn't a disgruntled departure.

 Somehow we've got to turn it. We've got to turn it immediately for us to get back in this thing. We're still there, but we've got to turn it immediately. We've got to turn attitudes and turn to believe in yourself as well as your team. We've got to turn it around and make guys understand the importance of it, number one, the urgency of it, number two, and leave it out on the floor.

 Our kids just did a great job of coming out of the locker room and taking control of the game. We just talked about trying to turn up our pressure a little bit. We had done that pretty well in the first half, but we did really well in the third quarter?. It was a pretty frenetic pace, but it was the kind of pace that we like in that game.  I beat him into turn 1 and we touched a little bit there. It wasn't a big deal. Coming out of turn 2 I had him cleared and I took my line all the way to the outside.
