 Our shot selection is terrible. Right before half, we were on a run, and then we go 12 possessions where we only score four points and turn the ball over three times.

 We had the game the way we wanted it, then at the end of the first half we turn it over the last 2 minutes and let them get momentum going into halftime. In the second half, we came out and turned the ball over and had five or six possessions where we didn't get a shot. That got (Western Kentucky) out and got them a lead.

 You can't turn the ball over 24 times and win. We were just trying to do too much and we weren't recognizing what they were doing to us defensively. Our shot selection was also poor...too many quick shots.

 We tried to limit their possessions. We're not going to score a lot of points, and our philosophy is that if we have the ball, the other team can't score.

 In the second half his shot selection was better. Mustafa (Shakur) did a better job at kicking back the ball to Chris to give him a better shot. In the first half, he was too quick to pull the trigger.

 We shot ourselves in the foot a lot of times in the second half. In the second half, the first (six) possessions, we turned it over four times.

 The second half in both these games, we came out, we got better looks and our offense got going. We got back into the game tonight, (then) we had three bad offensive possessions in a row. Our offense is killing us. We cannot turn the ball over and have bad possessions.

 We just can't turn the ball over. We've driven the ball, but the problem is when you turn the ball over in the gold area (inside the 20) and you don't score points, that's not good.

 At the end there, if we score on the three or four possessions when we had a shot, we could have got it to three or four points ... who knows? When you come into a ranked opponent's gym, and you're in that kind of a position, you get it down to six or so and it's doable. You need some help, but our guys battled to that point.

 We just can't turn the ball over. The problem is when you turn the ball over in the gold area and you don't score points. That's not good.

 Right now, we just don't have anybody playing up to their potential. We are turning the ball over entirely too much, and our shot selection and team defense is just terrible ... not good combinations, to say the least.

 We didn't turn the ball over much, but our shot selection was a little bad. We had some trouble with their zone. We're going to look over that and see what we can do.

 We did everything possible to win the game. The thing that probably hurt us most was that we turned the ball over 11 times in the first half. We shot 59 percent in the first half, and that's 11 times we didn't get a shot. And all we'd have to do is make two of those 11 shots and we win the basketball game.
