Jimmy's done that a lot this year. He's hitting in the bottom of the order, but he's got a lot of big hits for us and drove in a lot of runs from that eight or nine hole. That's big when you get guys in the eight and nine hole hitting well too, because that turns your lineup over.

When he first came here last year he was even smaller then, and a new guy, so you really have to make a name for yourself and get the trust from your teammates. And he came up just hitting people last year on special teams, and then finally when he started playing on defense he was really coming downhill and just hitting big guys like Jamal Lewis last year. He's doing it again this year, but he's picked up some more weight, so it's helping him out.

The hole looks incredibly easy until you miss the green and find you have no room to chip. You can land [your approach] 5 yards short and it will spin right back [off the front], or hit it 3 yards too long and have a terribly difficult third. Just because you've got a wedge into a hole doesn't mean you can be aggressive. There are times when hitting it to 20 feet can be a very good shot.

I actually have learned to become more patient, just knowing what the guys are doing around me. Understanding the scheme, understanding our blocking, basically just reading it. I think last year I just got to the point where I wanted to make a play, and I was trying to do it on my own instead of taking the 4 and 5 yards. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. This year I take the 4 and 5, line up and keep pounding, and when the big play comes, it comes.

A thousand yards? If that's how you judge me as a football player, then you need to continue judging me. Me not hitting 1,000 yards doesn't mean I'm any less of a receiver. This year, it was all about me ... playing consistent.

I would like him to play. Mike would be an asset to the team no doubt. He really came into his hitting last year and it would be nice to have him at the 3, 4, or 5 hole.

Last year when he was up, he was hitting in the eight-hole all year for us when he was there and had no protection behind him. It put him at a little bit of a disadvantage coming into the big leagues.

We cannot stop the run. I'm used to guys not getting 100 yards on us all year long. Someone has had 100 yards on us for I don't know how many games in a row.

When we're 25 yards away from the goal, we have to score. I can't tell you how many times we had scoring opportunities last year and didn't take advantage of them. I think that loss to Lincoln-Way really frustrated a lot of people. We just couldn't score and it was a bad way to end the season. I think these guys remember that game and want to make up for it.

I think it gave him some confidence and he got to see where he stacked up. He had a great year this year, and he's improved every year he's been here.
