 They were truly basketball players. They all were dedicated to the game. They put a lot of time and heart and soul into this. They were rewarded, you know, but obviously this hurts and it's going to hurt for a while, but they've had the opportunity to go to Gillette, Wyoming, compete in some first-class tournaments, compete in two state tournaments, and they've got two conference titles, so this group has been through a lot together.  When you are losing it is easy for people to see the negative side of it but for us it is probably the best system to suit the players we have got at the moment and we are playing it really well,

 Our players play a physical type of game. Some teams aren't used to that and don't like it, and feel we are playing dirty. But they were pushing our players from behind and knocked down a few.

 We're looking forward to making the trip to Australia as it is an opportunity of a lifetime for the players. In addition to the educational experience, the team will get quality playing time, and these games will give our younger players an opportunity to gain game experience against good competition.

 That was such a horrible, tragic moment. I thought it said a lot about Tony, the way he coaxed the team into playing. ... I know the players were shell-shocked. Athletes aren't prone to feeling mortal about themselves.

 Kyle has really fine-tuned his game. The only weakness in his game could be in distance, because of his young age. The rest of his game seems to be flawless.  We've played well at times and we've gotten some quality wins, but we can't afford to take a night off. We know we have to be playing our best soccer in the playoffs. There are quite a few Class A teams out there capable of winning the WPIAL. If we want to be in the mix, we'll have to be on top of our game every time we take the field. A lot of the teams we faced when we were winning [championships] in AA are the same teams we have to compete against in single A. If we aren't playing our best soccer, we're going to have an early exit.

 The quality is there in the squad. We are happy with the players we have in the club. There are no panic stations at this moment in time,

 Sometimes it's difficult. What you need to do when you're playing the game of baseball is have a short memory. You've just got to play this pitch, this moment . . . You can't control anything else.
