 A few days ago, the Democrat National Committee put out a press release attacking Bush for being physically fit. It seems his physical fitness comes at the expense of the nation's lardbutt youth. Or as the DNC put it: 'While President Bush has made physical fitness a personal priority, his cuts to education funding have forced schools to roll back physical education classes and his administration's efforts to undermine Title IX sports programs have threatened thousands of women's college sports programs.' Wow. I noticed my gal had put on a few pounds but I had no idea it was Bush's fault.

 The administration has not supported the funding for physical fitness equipment as part of the fire grant program. Physical fitness is an individual responsibility.

 We strive to do all that we can to help emphasize the importance of sports and athletics for women and young people. National Girls and Women in Sports Day recognizes female athletes that came before us, and encourages future generations of girls to make physical fitness a regular part of their lives.

 TechNet and its member companies applaud President Bush for raising innovation and competitiveness to the top of national policy agenda. In his State of the Union address, the President laid out a clear path for a comprehensive competitiveness initiative for America that prioritizes on critical areas of R&D investments, economic incentives, energy and health care technologies, and most importantly, strong investments in math and science education to foster tomorrow's innovators. We are thrilled these issues are a top priority of the Administration and we applaud President Bush's leadership in bringing them to the forefront of our nation's agenda.

 We recognize the important role and effort the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports is making, not only among the children in our state but in the communities where we live, to encourage everyone to take action and live a healthier lifestyle. If you feel that people can handle all of that and they are physically right, then you pick the team. I have spoken to John now and then over the last two or three weeks. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.
