 Bookings outpaced even our strong sales growth during the fourth quarter driven by a combination of broad end market demand and longer lead times. In addition to higher order rates for products supporting notebook and desktop applications, bookings for products serving the display end market increased significantly.

 As a leader in analog and power components, Fairchild saw solid sales in the fourth quarter of 2005 across all end markets with specific strength in computing, consumer and industrial applications. Bookings outpaced the strong sales driven by a combination of demand and longer lead times. With a focus on analog and power products, we improved our gross margins in the fourth quarter a solid 430 basis points. We made excellent progress in 2005 by improving our management of the distribution channel, reducing inventories throughout the supply chain, and reducing our capital spending and ultimately depreciation expense. Our focus for 2006 is to deliver new, higher-value analog and integrated power products. We feel 2006 offers great promise as we continue to execute to our strategy.

 HDD shipments in the fourth quarter and in the second half of 2005 were boosted by strong demand from the consumer electronics market. Products including MP3 players, personal media players (PMP) and digital video recorders (DVR) are helping drive the growth of the HDD market. Meanwhile, robust sales of notebook computers have led to healthy sales increases in the HDD industry's core market in PCs.

 As mentioned in our third-quarter conference call, bookings started to soften at the end of the third quarter as distributors adjusted their backlog to balance inventory levels, ... Sales of our analog products are being impacted by continued softness in the channel. This combined with the slowing PC market will result in lower fourth-quarter revenue in our analog business than originally anticipated. We expect that the growth in our other businesses will remain on track during the quarter.

 Although demand for our products remains significantly higher than it was in the fourth quarter of 1999, the order rate has slowed considerably from the record pace experienced in the third quarter of 2000.

 Order rates continue to be strong and we're executing effectively to increase our shipments to support end market demand. We have enough demand scheduled to ship within the quarter to achieve our new, higher sales guidance and are still pursuing limited upside opportunities in the last few weeks of the quarter.

 Demand for our desktop and server products from enterprise customers was particularly strong this quarter with significant sales and customer momentum from our recently launched server products.

 Hurricanes and extreme weather have elevated the demand for proven weather barrier products. The increased capacity at our new manufacturing site will allow us to bring our products to market faster and service growing opportunities in the South and nationwide. The new Tennessee location sits in a strong labor market and has an extensive transportation network to support our growth businesses.

 The fourth quarter capped a year of significant improvement for Teradyne. Throughout 2005, we had solid sequential growth in sales and bookings, strong fourth quarter profit performance in both our semiconductor test and non-semiconductor test businesses, and a much-improved balance sheet.

 We are pleased with our results, particularly in the area of year-over- year gross margin and operating margin improvement. Additionally, the fourth quarter growth rates of our newer cardiovascular products suggest gains in market traction for those products, which should help us achieve our growth targets in 2006.

 2005 turned out to be a very good year for the semiconductor industry. Despite record energy prices and an unprecedented series of natural disasters, worldwide demand for semiconductors increased in all end markets. Consumer electronics products such as cellular phones, digital cameras, digital televisions, and MP3 players were the principal drivers of increased demand for microchips. Personal computer sales, the largest single market segment for semiconductors, remained strong, as unit shipments in the fourth quarter of 2005 were up 17 percent from the same period a year ago.

 The company is likely to report another quarter of record bookings incrementally, driven by strong demand from Asian subcontractors.

 It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. Consumer confidence has increased two consecutive months, interest rates have stabilized and inflation remains in check while other economic indicators are showing positive trends. The 10 new products we are launching will be a catalyst for sales growth in a strong and competitive market this year.

 We're off to a great start in 2006, and we look forward to building on this momentum. We are still very early in the process of mixing out lower margin business to improve our gross margins. Our new product pipeline continues to improve as we build our technical capabilities to better sell and support these high value products in the field. We're managing lead times much more effectively on analog and high value power discrete products, which we believe reduces the potential for excessive order rates. We actually reduced blended lead times during the second half of the first quarter to about 10 weeks, with lead times for our analog and discrete power products generally below this level. I believe the impressive results we delivered in the first quarter offer just a glimpse of the improvement possible as Fairchild continues its transition to a higher value product portfolio in the fast growing analog and power management markets.

 The significant 55 tool bookings in Q4 2005 confirm an overall semiconductor cycle upswing. We expect the trend to be sustained in Q1 2006, with bookings at least at the same level as that of Q4 2005 and Q1 2006 sales showing important growth versus the previous quarter.
