 My mother was born in Lima, Peru, and my father is American of primarily German and English descent. And as I understand it, Bratt is of English origin. People often ask me if it's a stage name. In fact, it is not.

Obviously there are more specific ones that get a little bit tricky. Same with American stuff. But because in Australia we're so inundated with American culture, television, this that and the other, everyone in Australia can do an American accent. It's just second nature.

 My mother, father and birth-mother were pro-life and pro-adoption. Because they were, my father made me a Reagan. I've come to honor my father, not to politicize his name.

 But yet there is no perfect father or mother.
