 There's no crusade here, but I am trying to slip classical music in through the back door, ... I think people can talk about classical composers in the same breath as contemporary music. All music is good music.

 Most traders are fairly frozen. Everything right now is rumor-driven and report-driven, and it's probably going to stay like this for the next few days until we get a better sense of how things are proceeding.

 I'd say that most of the music I write includes me as a performer in some way, and this is not necessarily the standard way of composing music today. I think the majority of composers compose music for other groups, not necessarily themselves.

 He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. We still get messages from them. This is really good music, even if people don't know the names of the composers. It's opening the music to the world.

 The effort to restore our state requires a daring, yet realistic plan. A plan based on input from people in all walks of life. A plan created from the ground up. A plan driven by local needs. A plan inspired by innovation, ... We cannot simply re-create what the storms destroyed. We must make the new Louisiana smarter, safer and stronger.
